Creamy Palak(Spinach) Soup

Do remember the cartoon character Popeye the Sailor Man. He was portrayed as having a strong affinity for spinach, becoming physically stronger after palak (spinach). The commonly accepted story of events states this portrayal is based on faulty calculations of the iron content in palak.
Few days back; I read in book that palak (Spinach) acts as antioxidant and protects our body from radical formation and act as anti cancer substances too ; from this I got an ideal of posting some recipe made of palak. But the versatile palak is used in variety of preparation such as palak rice, palak puri, dal palak, palak pakoda, and one of the most famous cuisine palak paneer in spite of all this varieties I preferred palak soup as today’s recipe
