Peas are all time favorite
veggies of mine; when the peas are in season I buy peas and store in fridge for
months together… Now as peas are in season I
thought of posting one of my favorite breakfast Matter poori with Aloo tamatar.
Ingredients
2cups Maida
Salt to taste
1sp Oil
Stuffing
2cups Peas
¼” Ginger
2flakes Garlic
3-4 Green Chillies
Salt to taste
1/2sp Oil
For frying
Oil
Method
Heat 1/2sp oil in kadai/wok, add
chopped ginger sauté it add crushed garlic sauté it add peas , green chillies
and salt and sauté till peas are cooked and become soft.
Keep aside to cool.
Ones
it get cool blend it in mixer (without adding water)
Make a balls of dough and give it
a cup or katori shape and stuff above blended peas close it (such that the
blended peas doesn’t come out)
Take stuffed dough flatten it
with hand so that the stuffing spreads evenly then use roll pin and make poori
(don’t dust dry Maida while using roll pin)
Heat oil in kadai/wok for frying
Ones oil gets heated fry peas

Serve hot pooris with Aloo tamatar
