Hi
Friends ones again I have reappeared after a small gap with a simple cake
recipe.
Though I
went to baking class many years back; but wanted to post my mom’s cake recipe
first .I was planning to post this recipe long back but due to some or the
other reasons I couldn’t do so; now I
thought this is an ideal recipe to restart my blog after a small gap.
My mom used
ordinary grinding mixer which is easily available in everyone kitchen; to beat
eggs and blend cake batter; and used cooker to bake cake instead of oven. (We
did not have oven at that time) but the taste and texture of cake was awesome
and I still have that yummy taste of cake on my taste buds yet, so I called my
mom and took the cake recipe.
In this cake recipe I will
be telling how to make a cake using mixer instead of hand blender as well as. I‘ll
be baking the cake in cooker and in oven too.
Procedure
1.
Grease the baking tin and keep aside.
2.
Sieve flour with baking powder 2times.
3.
Powder the sugar in mixer and keep aside.
4.
Place eggs in mixer and blend until light
5. Add
sugar and blend well, then add butter and run mixer thoroughly then add milk
and essence and run mixer until smooth.
6. Take
it in a bowl; add sieved flour and mix very gently in cut and fold method.
7. Sprinkle
tutti frutti in greased tin and pour cake batter again spread some more
tutti-frutti on cake batter.
8. Bake
at 120 degrees C for 25-30minutes in preheated oven, until the top of the cake
becomes brown.
9.
Allow to cool off in the oven for 5minutes.
10. Remove
it from oven, cool, and then transfer it from baked tin to plate.
Procedure of baking
cake in cooker:-
The procedure
of mixing the cake is same as above (1-6steps)
Take
some 2cups of salt, spread inside the cooker place cooker plate, and preheat
cooker on medium flame for 5min.
Then place
baking tin and close cooker (remove the gasket of cooker before closing)
Bake cake
for 45min on medium flame.
Note:-
1) Preheat oven: Before
you bake anything, your oven should to be heated at 250C for
5minutes before hand.
2) Take toothpick poke the top of the
cake slightly in the middle. If
it comes up with some wet batter, crumbs or stickiness on it, the cake needs to
bake some more. If it is dry,
then the cake is done.
3) My moms used give a
layer of sand instead of salt in cooker but in this recipe, I have used salt; I
got this idea from one my favorite TV channel.
