Panpatholi

Pan patholi is a sweet dish prepared on nagarpanchami and navrathri festivals….
Panpatholi is nothing but a sweet coconut stuffed in rice batter and steamed in turmeric leaves; the aroma of the turmeric leaves the patholi rolls while steaming makes the whole house smell divine; this is what makes the patholi special.
I wanted to post this recipe before nagarpanchami but I had only eight turmeric leaves in my garden, which I reserved for this auspicious nagarpanchami day.

Now steam cook folded leaves for about ½ hour.
After ½ hour, serve Panpatholi.

Note
The cooking time depends on the quantity of panpatholi; as I had only 7-8 panpatholi so I steam cooked for ½ hour.
